As a Licensed Master Esthetics Instructor with over 10 year of experience in the Esthetics industry, Deborah’s education as a graduate of The Virginia Institute of Esthetics as well as her work experience in the treatment room enables her to provide students with a quality education that meets the standards of state board and exceeds industry expectations. Her degree in Human Services, her 20 years experience in retail and her knowledge of the industry has given her the skills necessary to build a rapport with her students that promotes the value and joy of learning.  Deborah completed the Thomas Jennings Open Learning Village Online Teaching and Learning Certificate course to enhance her skills as a blended learning professional.  In addition, she earned a Small Business Management Certificate from Tidewater Community College.  She is the executive director of the Society of Virginia Skin Care Specialists (SVSS) and was instrumental in lobbying for the licensing bill which established the current standards for the esthetics professionals in Virginia.  Deborah was also a key member of the team from Virginia that conducted a demonstration class for the Electric Facial Machine in Las Vegas, NV.
